Year 4 celebrated the Finale of their Term 3 WAU Thematic topic, “ It’s a Bugs’ Life,” with a special celebratory event today of the Yr 4 “ Ugly Bug Ball.” The morning started with a colouring Minibeast Competition, followed by the Minibeast Parade, decorating minibeast biscuits, making creative art & design caterpillar models and working together in teams to play, Pass the Parcel. This was followed by a special, “Ugly Bug Ball,” Menu today of Swamp Juice, Slithery Worms, Jelly Slugs, Flying Planet Insects and more tasty bug treats!
After playtime fun outdoors at breaktime, Yr 4 participated in further fun team games , Minibeast manoeuvres in the Assembly Hall, along with lots of outdoor fun in Minibeast Parachute Games and Beanbag Competitions.
Finally such creative talent in Yr 4 with all their creative Minibeast costumes.
Thank you to all Parents/ Carers, for supporting your child today with our special, Yr 4 “Ugly Bug Ball.” Each boy and girl in Yr 4 received a certificate for their participation in this fun, creative, special, Yr 4 “Ugly Bug Ball.”
Finally, may I take this opportunity of saying a huge thanks to Mrs McNaughton and all the Non- Teaching Staff in the Yr 4 Team, who have all helped in so many ways, to make today so special for all the boys and girls in Year 4.
