This term, Year 6 have been learning about natural disasters, exploring tornadoes, earthquakes and volcanoes. Pupils carried out science investigations including building earthquake?proof structures, using wind power to lift weights and creating and painting 3D volcano models. They also used ICT to research different disasters and the scientists who study them. It has been an exciting and hands?on topic that the pupils have thoroughly enjoyed.
