What an incredible day for Year 5!
To celebrate Michael Rosen Day, our classrooms were buzzing with excitement as we joined a live Q&A with the legendary author himself- Michael Rosen!
The children were thrilled to hear Michael read some of his famous poems and share hilarious stories about where his ideas come from. His energy, humour, and love of words had everyone smiling (and laughing a lot).
We also had to chance to read some of his work and reflect on what makes his writing so special - from his rhythm and rhyme to the way he captures real life in such funny and heartwarming ways.
It was a truly unforgettable experience that has inspired our young writers and poets to get creative. What a fantastic day!
