One of the activities we completed this week for Science week was to make propeller boats and see which boat travelled the furthest. We started by looking at the resources we had and then in groups we designed our first boat. We tested the boats we made and then discussed what we needed to change to make it go further. Then in pairs we were given new resources and we refined our designs and made our final version. When the children were happy with their final version we had a round of final testing and measured how far each boat travelled before we had our winners.
