Mrs Murphy’s class had a fantastic Science Week to celebrate British Science Week Uk! They researched information about The Famous Scientist, Thomas Edison, created fact files to highlight his life and numerous inventions. The class joined a BBC Live “Light Science Lesson”, to learn that light travels in straight lines, can be reflected and about our Solar System. The boys and girls in 4JM had fun investigating shadows, measuring the length of their shadows outdoors and developing their curiosity about making shadow shapes. The application of Using ICT was further developed as the class also took part in a “Live Just 2 Easy Lesson,” using Digital Animation to create his / her unique “ Butterfly Digital Story,” Fantastic curiosity by all the boys and girls in Mrs Murphy’s class during Science Week 2026!
