We’re delighted to share that our Primary 5 pupils have an exciting new chapter in their music learning – the recorder!
Over the coming weeks, children will be discovering how to read simple musical notation, play with correct breathing and posture, and work together to create fantastic performances. The recorder is a wonderful first instrument: it helps develop coordination, listening skills, and confidence, while also laying the foundations for future instrumental learning.
There will be plenty of fun along the way – from learning their first notes and familiar tunes, to playing in small groups and even performing for others. You may soon hear a few early “practice notes” at home… progress in action!
We’re really excited to see how their skills grow, and we look forward to sharing their musical journey with you!
