Friendship Week was celebrated in our school this week. The pupils in Year 4 participated in a range of activities to discuss, learn and share our thoughts and feelings about “Friendship.” The boys and girls in Mrs Murphy’s class considered this week about “What makes a good friend?” and also the qualities and attributes of “Friendship.” Using a range of cross- curricular active learning strategies and approaches, the pupils in 4JM, designed Friendship Rainbow Clouds, artistic friendly Starry- eyed Octopuses, created Acrostic Friendship Poems in Literacy and also Using ICT in our fabulous school Computer Suite. The boys and girls also enjoyed listening and talking about friendship stories during Year 4 c2K Newsdesk sessions, Michael Rosen Day and during Children in Need today, on how can we can help and be a caring friend to others.
