Friday 24th October - Half Term Fun Day
Dear Parent/ Carer,
On Friday 24th October 2025, we are having a Sustrans, "Ditch the Dark Day," in school. We want to encourage as many pupils as possible to travel actively to school. You might want to walk, cycle or scoot to school on Friday 24th October.
At this time of the year, it will begin to get dark in the morning and the afternoon when we are travelling to and from school, so we have to make sure cars, buses, vans and lorries can see us clearly when we are actively travelling to school.
Therefore, we would like your child to wear something bright to school to enhance their uniform. Remember Be Bright Be Seen. Your child can wear bright colours as well as reflective and fluorescent clothing.
We would like your child also to decorate his/ her bicycle or scooter when travelling actively to school on Friday 24th October
Remember - BE BRIGHT BE SEEN
Also on Friday 24th October, we are having a Half Term Fun Day, when pupils will have the opportunity to dance/ move to Disco Music in the Assembly Hall and to watch an appropriate age-related movie. There will be a quiet space in school for any pupil who does not wish to be in the hall or does not want to watch the movie.
For break, on Friday 24th October, pupils may bring a Friday Treat or purchase from the School Tuck Shop. Our School Council have approved a Tuck Shop for raising funds for Rosie upkeep and to purchase classroom board games.
We are looking forward to our School Half Term Fun Day next Friday.
