With the value of the month of February being all about trust, Year 4 invited the Dogs’ Trust to visit our school and lead some workshops and an assembly for Years 3 and 4. The staff member Paula was so enthusiastic in her work and pupils learnt so much about safely approaching dogs and how to build and manage trust with our animals. We talked about safety in approaching known and unfamiliar dogs, about how and when to give affection to your pets and the safest ways to do this. Year 4JMu lead the assembly with an introduction about how was express our school value of trust in different ways and then Paula presented her information for Key Stage One pupils and the visiting parents. We look forward to welcoming The Dogs’ Trust to school again in future.
