Year 4 have had a busy Term 1A, finding out about the Thematic Topic “ Home Sweet Home.” The boys and girls in Mrs Murphy’s class have enjoyed observing trees, plants and leaves in the school grounds, constructing homes using 3D large outdoor materials, drawing plan view of objects found in the home, Using ICT to research about World Patient Day and information about other countries in European Day. Year 4 have also enjoyed participating in a Local House Survey of our local community. Finally creative artwork using Artset and pastels mediums to design interesting pictures of homes and also of the Autumn Harvest moon. Great Teamwork and interest by everyone in Year 4.
