What an incredible day we've had celebrating World Book Day at Ballymoney Model! ? It was fantastic to see everyone dressed up as their favourite book characters – the creativity and effort put into the costumes were truly impressive!
Throughout the school, we enjoyed a variety of shared reading activities that brought stories to life and sparked our imaginations. From buddy reading sessions to interactive storytelling, it was a joy to see students and teachers alike immersed in the magic of books.
A special thank you to Ballymoney Nursery School who welcomed some of our Year 5 pupils to their classrooms to complete shared reading activities with books and Story Sacks.
We also participated in World Book Day live lessons, which provided an exciting opportunity to connect with authors and illustrators, and learn more about the wonderful world of literature.
