Year 7NT World Patient Safety Day

As part of our PDMU this week we looked at medication safety. Today is World Patient Safety Day and we looked at scenarios in which medication safety went wrong and the potential risks. The children then made story boards to illustrate one of the scenarios.
The pupils in 7RR have the opportunity to participate in hockey sessions this term led by Diane. They are enjoying developing their hockey skills on a Monday and have been very lucky with the weather so far as they have been able to complete their sessions outdoors.

School Garden Produce: Pea pods harvested by Eco Committee

The Eco Committee met for their second meeting this month on Wednesday 10th September. The tiny pea seeds which Year 1 had planted last term had grown into pea pods on the pea plants. These fresh pea pods were harvested by the Eco Committee last week and put on display in the School Foyer, before being taken home to sample our school grown fresh peas. Eco - Schools Committee: School Garden Produce : Fresh strawberries

The Eco Committee met on Wednesday 10th September and enjoyed picking freshly grown strawberries in our School Garden.

As part of their World Around Us theme, ‘Twinkle, Twinkle’, the pupils in Mrs Mack’s class enjoyed creating pieces of art inspired by the famous painting, ‘The Starry Night’, by Van Gogh.
