2JMcL pupils loved planting sunflower seeds as part of their World Around Us topic. They learned what plants need to grow and got hands-on filling pots, planting seeds and watering their new seedlings. We can’t wait to watch their sunflowers grow!

Miss Hemphill’s class are enjoying our Yummy Yummy topic. In Using Mathematics we decided to find out which type of grape was more popular - red or green. After tasting our grapes we used a cube to represent our choice. We then counted the number of cubes for each choice and entered the data into a bar chart. We were able to say green was the most popular.

Year 4 had an amazing STEM Workshop with Good Relations Project: Chinese New Year Themed workshop session, on Monday 2nd March. The boys and girls in Year 4 in Mrs Murphy’s, Mrs McNaughton’s and Mrs Mack’s classes, all worked together in groups to design and make a Chinese Themed Kite.
