Year 4JM Celebrate as Superheroes in NI’s Autism Day 2026
NI ‘s Autism Day was promoted in our school by the boys and girls coming to school as a Superhero. Have a look at the fantastic variety of Superhero costumes in 4JM. The highlight of the day was to participate in our class Circle Time with Rosie, our School Therapy Dog, and use our Superhero Powers to give us confidence, strength and compassion to listen to our peers sharing how his/ her favourite “Superhero,” has helped him/ her, try something new, be a kind hero to their friend, be helpful at home or in school, or give someone a gift, treat or smile, to brighten their day.
Thank you to all Parents/ Carers for your support and interest in Autism NI Superhero Day.
Also a huge thanks to Mrs McNaughton, Pastoral Care Leader for organising such a successful day to mark in our school, Superheroes in NI’s Autism Day 2026.
Many thanks
Mrs MurphyEco- Schools & WAU Leader and Head of KS1
