As part of friendship week, Primary 2 learnt about the importance of being a good friend. We read the story of Starry-Eyed Stan who learnt the importance of being a true friend to others. We had a circle time discussion on what things are friendly and unfriendly and talked about how we feel when people are friendly towards us. We made handprints with our friends in the class and created friendship flowers with each petal displaying a characteristic we would like a friend to have such as being kind or helpful. We also made friendship potions and added all the different things we would like a friend to have into our friendship pots. In Primary 2 we are all great friends with each other. We look out for our friends and make sure they are happy!
