Pupils in Mrs Carson’s class were finding out all about Orange Juice today. They talked about where oranges grow, the climate needed and how oranges get to Ballymoney. Most oranges are grown in China, as well as in Mexico and Spain.They then watched an orange being squeezed. We found out that oranges contain a lot of Vitamin C which is good for our skin, blood and bones. Also, we now know that orange peel helps to keep slugs out of our gardens. Pupils were very surprised how much juice came from one single orange.
