Miss Hemphill’s class have been using the balance scales to find out how heavy some of our classroom objects are. We worked in groups to weigh the items. We counted how many cubes, waffle blocks or linking chains it took to balance each item. We even recorded our answers. We realised each group got a different answer because we didn’t all use the same objects to weigh the items. Super work Year 1!
