In Year 6 we have been working on our model volcanoes over the last three weeks. First, we created the internal structure with scraps of paper and other recyclable materials. Then, we covered our models in modroc strips (plaster of Paris). This week we have begun to paint our volcanoes in colours representing the rock, ash and molten lava. They are looking fantastic!
