Sustrans “Book Swap “ Thursday 5th March and Active Travel Friday 6th March 2026.

World Book Day Thursday 5th March  & Active Travel Events on Friday 6th March 2026.

To celebrate World Book Day, pupils are also invited to take part in our Eco - Schools,
 “ Sustrans Book Swap” on Thursday 5th March 2026.

Pupils should bring pre-loved book(s), to school on World Book Day on Thursday 5th March 2026, to donate to the “Book Swap Shop,” organised by the Eco Committee and School Librarians.
Each pupil will receive a token which can be exchanged for another book of their choice, giving everyone the chance to enjoy something new while promoting “reuse and sustainability.”

We are also encouraging pupils to support “Active Travel,” by pupils bringing their “wheels to school,” on Friday 6th March 2026. This initiative promotes healthy, environmentally friendly travel and ties in within our Eco- Schools Green Flag Programme, World Book Day Celebrations 2026 and Children’s Mental Health Week and Outdoor Active Travel 2026.
