This week in our phonics lessons, pupils focused on the ‘igh’ sound.
They took part in a range of engaging, hands-on activities, including sorting real and nonsense words in the tuff tray, building words with magnetic letters, completing a Reading Eggs task on the iPads, and working through a written worksheet. The children really enjoyed exploring the sound in lots of different ways and showed fantastic enthusiasm.
