The pupils in Mrs Mack’s class enjoyed learning about how the fantastic block building toy started in a little workshop in Denmark back in 1932. Ole Kirk Christiansen, a carpenter, who began making wooden toys, had no idea that these humble beginnings would eventually lead to one of the most iconic toys in the world. Take a look at some of the building that took place in the classroom this afternoon to celebrate the occasion.
