During Maths Week, the boys and girls in Mrs Murphy’s class had great fun working together to achieve success in a variety of practical sessions in Using Mathematics. The application of additional and subtraction recall of Maths Facts was really enjoyed by class 4JM through board dice games, building tower block games, Number Splat, completing Assigned activities in Mathletics and working as a class together to play Wipe Out! The boys and girls have also been learning about the names and properties of 2D shapes, through classifying 2D shapes in a variety of practical activities and making faces of 2D shapes using IzaK 9. Congratulations to class 4JM for achieving great success in completing all the fun, practical activities in Using Mathematics.
