We were very fortunate to be granted funding from IEF in June 2024 in order to support 'Early Intervention of Additional Needs'.
Part of the funding application was set aside for support in accessing the Literacy Curriculum and supporting pupils presenting with concerns which align to a Specific Literacy Disorder (SpLD).
We received funding from Herbert Smith Freehills, specifically for the Easyreader CPENS. These pens arrived last week and our pupils have enjoyed exploring the devices as a strategy to support reading comprehension and accessing new vocabulary. Our Year 4 School Council pupils helped with the delivery of the devices to classrooms.
