On Monday Year 7 enjoyed a fantastic workshop from Holding History. To begin the children got taught lots of interesting information all about World War 2. Then they went to the hall and outside where they had the opportunity to pretend to be in the army and practise drills and attempt to complete the obstacle course. After that they had the chance to look at the artefacts up close. The Year 7’s really enjoyed this experience as part of our topic ‘Keep Calm and Carry On’.
