7RR have been extremely busy in Term 1A learning about various aspects of World War 2 through their topic entitled, “ Keep Calm and Carry On.” They enjoyed reading the novel, “ Friend or Foe,” and completing various writing tasks associated with it. They were able to develop their ICT skills by creating World War 2 evacuation posters in the computer suite. In Using Mathematics they plotted coordinates to create a picture of a spitfire plane. The highlight of the term was our Holding History day when the pupils got the opportunity to handle artefacts from the war as well as participating in an obstacle course and completing drills.
