4JM rspb BIG Schools’ Birdwatch 2025
23rd Jan 2025
The boys and girls in Mrs Murphy’s class, really enjoyed participating in the rspb BIG Schools’s Birdwatch 2025 in our school grounds. The different birds were observed and we had great fun using the binoculars and then to identify and record the number and types of listed rspb species of birds in this BIG Schools’s Birdwatch 2025 Survey.
The Annual BIG Schools’s Birdwatch plays an import part in the British Ornithological Bird Survey and to assess and identify the increase or decline in species in different birds populations.
Also as an Eco- Schools Green Flag School, the Eco Committee and the whole - school all play an important role in caring for the Biodiversity and Wildlife in our school grounds and local and wider environment.
This weekend, at home from Friday 24th- 26th January, you may, if you wish, also play part in the rspb Garden Watch Survey 2025.
Many thanks,
Mrs Murphy.
Eco Schools & WAU Leader.
