The boys and girls in Mrs Murphy’s class enjoyed the Launch of our whole school “Forest Fridays.” On Friday 5th April, in the lovely morning sunshine, the Forest was explored for signs of Spring, looking for new buds on tree branches, unfurling leaves on the forest floor and Spring flowers. The Sense of Sight, Sound, Touch were all part of our Sensory Adventure in the Forest. The boys and girls heard beautiful bird song and gazed up at the amazing, blue, sky through the Spring open canopy of trees in our School Forest.
We are looking forward to our next Forest Friday.
