Year 4 have had a very busy Term 1A finding out about houses and homes in their Topic “ Home Sweet Home.” The boys and girls in Mrs Murphy’s class have enjoyed a Thematic cross- curricular approach, by looking at features of houses, being builders and constructing 3D house designs outdoors. Brilliant pastel paintings were created in the style of the Famous artist Van Gogh. Through Using ICT, the boys and girls mastered and produced interesting pictures and stories of “Home sweet Home.” In Literacy there has been a variety of Shared stories, posters and book reviews of different versions of The three Little Pigs has been portrayed through making posters. Mrs Murphy’s class have participated in Nature Adjective Walks in the school grounds and this was integrated to complete Recount Writing during Term 1A.
