Mrs Murphy’s class really enjoyed being scientists as they carried out a series of experiments to find out if materials could make a complete circuit. In groups they first made a circuit and then predicted and recorded if the material was a conductor or insulator. The boys and girls in 4JM selected a variety of objects of classroom objects made from metal, plastic, wood, paper, chalk etc, to carry out their experiments.
Great interest and delight was shown by the boys and girls inn4JM when the light bulb lit up, as part of the Year 4 “ Shine a Light” WAU Thematic Science experiments.
